Melinda’s Best Chocolate Chip Cookies EVER!

  • 1 cup of shortening
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Add salt, baking soda and flour, mix thoroughly. Add chocolate chips. Drop onto an un-greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes or until lightly brown.
