We have worked on a wide range of projects that involved ethnography with kids. Some of those have been “fun and games,” quite literally, doing projects for toy companies, where others have been more serious, studying health conditions like diabetes. Doing ethnography with kids requires a special set of skills in the field as well as grounding in the abundant theoretical work in the social sciences about childhood and development. We always enjoy entering the unique world of childhood and are proud of the fact that we know just what to do when we get there
